Once in a staff meeting (I am not so sure), two groups of PIs were in serious disagreement over something. They were really going for it, and making lots of noise. Biofuel development condemned by Wei-chin Chang (7-2-2007)
A charity that helps farmers in poor countries has strongly condemned the development of biofuels,the charity, called GRAIN, says growing crops for fuel is causing ecosystems to be destroyed and farmers to lose their land¡K. Grain also says the media has been "spun" into using the cosy term biofuels and wants people to refer to them as agro-fuels instead.¡@» read more |
