The Affymetrix Gene Expression Service Lab( http://ipmb.sinica.edu.tw/affy/ ) was established in June, 2004, sponsored by IPMB, IBS and IMB. This laboratory provides services for target preparation, hybridization, wash/stain and image scanning for Affymetrix GeneChip. GeneChip technology enables investigators to examine differential gene expression in various model organisms including Arabidopsis, drosophila, human, mouse, rat, rice, soybean, and yeast etc. One ad hoc committee of three members from the sponsoring institutes oversees the operation of this service laboratory.
